• I would also like to change the color of the box that appears within the slideshow, if possible. I’ve tried finding it in the code, but I’m a novice when it comes to coding. Is there an easy way to do this, and if so, please tell me how.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

Please take a minute to look through existing support threads, this has been asked before and there is an answer.

Yes, I’ve read through that thread, but I can’t figure out where I need to make the change within the code. I found a way to do with a plugin for the Service Times area (Right Column), but I can’t figure out how to do it with the slideshow.

I think it’s because my slideshow isn’t showing up under “Visit the Site” which is where I made the change for the Right Column color on the homepage.

I’m not sure why you would need a plugin to modify existing CSS code or add custom CSS code…
That thread already indicates which code should be edited, not sure what else there is to add to this.

I installed a plugin because I’m not very good at going into the code. When I try to use Custom CSS on the Customize side of the site, I don’t see any difference and I think it’s because I have no idea what I’m doing.

Also, I don’t know where to find the existing CSS code. I don’t know what tab to look under (Appearance, Settings, etc.) As I said, I’m very much of a novice when it comes to code, so all the terminology means very little to me.
