    Hi,

since a couple of days ago, slideshow stop working. It hangs forever showing only the filmstrip. The only thing that came to my mind is a gallery contest plugin I installed for a few days and then deleted. I don’t know if it caused a kind of conflict. I would try to download a newer version of wppa but I found that is temporarily offline. However, I wonder if the new version fixes the issue.

Many thanks in advance for help.

    Best regards

    Andrea

It looks like you shortcode is invalid, it looks to be:
    [wppa type=”slideonlyf” album=”1″ align=”center” size=”400, auto]
    while you most likely meant:
    [wppa type=”slideonlyf” album=”1″ align=”center” size=”400,auto”]

If it still does not work after changing – it is likely that another plugin modifies the code generated by wppa – try to add ‘delay’ to the shortcode:

    [wppa type=”slideonlyf” album=”1″ align=”center” size=”400,auto” delay]

“Delay” fixed the misbehavior. Many thanks.

Anyway, I will try to reinstall the plugin as soon as it can be downloaded again.

    Best regards

    Hello Jaap,

I have a similar issue. My slideshow keeps on loading, but it is not the shortcode neighterit is the plugin conflict, at least that is what I think.

    Vriendelijke groet,

Try it with the Yoast SEO plugin v20.10 de-activated.
If it works then, make sure the optimizer does not affects the javascripts when you re-activated it
