Slides only work in default language (english)

    Hi

    The slider function works only on the english version from my site (www.nccr-planets.ch). This mean on the other language I could see all elements in the category and the slider control are not active (I have temporary set the max-height and overflow:hidden so it’s seems normally). The shortcodes on every site are the same.

    what could be the cause?

    The problem are on the french and german main pages. I could not slide with the previus and next button (he doesn’t display). I have the exact shortcode on every language page but only on the english version I could slide the posts. I tested this with the actually firefox and with the actually chrome browser.

    1. if you have any problems with height of the elements, please uncheck or set to false “Auto height” option
    2. another issue are js missing files, see your console when you change the language:

    Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token ILLEGAL
igsv-datatables.js?ver=4.4.2:5 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'defaults' of undefined
(index):960 Uncaught TypeError: $(...).tooltipster is not a function
(index):711 Uncaught TypeError: wpPostsCarousel1211617793.owlCarousel is not a function

    when you resolve a problem with tooltipster, owlCarousel should be working well.

    Thanks for your answer.

    1. The “auto height” could not be the problem, because he’s working in the default language (EN).

    2. I’m don’t find any tooltipster (I have not installed a plugin with this name). For testing I have all the plugins with the exception of WP Post Carousel and the WPML Multilingual CMS (i need this for the other languages) disabled, with the same result. The “owl-controls” works only in the default language (EN) and not in the others languages (DE/FR), The shortcode from wp post carousel are equal in each content from every language. I have als checked the html code with the result that the owl-controls not loaded displayed in the languages (FR/DE). My java skills are not very good so I do not look further where.

    Hi Ulrich, I just saw on your website that you found the solution.
    Could you tell where was the problem?

    Hi, unfortunately the problem are still persist. You could check this when you try to scroll the newsitems in other language then english. I have exact the same number of posts in every language.
