I have been using the slider for a while now and its been working fine, but it seems over night the plugin has stopped working. I still have sliders made, but they are not showing up on the pages.

    Please help asap.

    Thanks you.

    Hello there,

The same issue happened to me after I updated the plugin to 2.0.16. I managed to fix it by renaming the ‘CSS #id for slider’ value to ‘myslider’. After the new update, I believe numbers aren’t allowed so rename it to only letters and it should re-appear.

    Hi,

Thanks for helping me out! I changed the CSS ID to only letters and the sliders still aren’t showing up. Was there anything else I’m supposed to change? The shortcode still has numbers…could this be effecting it?

Each slider must have a unique CSS ID.
So if you have multiple sliders displaying on a page, each slider MUST have a unique CSS ID. This ID can contain letters and numbers but should start with a letter.

When you save your slider, you will see the Shortcode for your slider under the ‘Shortcode/Preview’ section (top-right). Copy and paste this into your page.

All of my sliders have been saved with unique CSS Id’s. When I click “preview slider” it shows me the slider but they still are not showing up on the page.

mine was not showing. I renamed the CSS to a unique ID then clicked update. That seemed to do the trick and it showed right after.

I have not updated to the latest version but I do plan on that soon

I’ve done this and its still not working.

I do see that my current theme uses Owl Carousel, does this have something to do with it? I was able to get one slider to work but none of the others will show up.

What is the URL of the page in question?

Here is the url where one slider somehow worked:

Here is the url for a page that currently has sliders that won’t show:
    https://theaveragelo.com/shop-my-favorites/

Try changing the CSS ID og your slider from “Shaggy_Sweaters” to “shaggysweaters”.

Also your “Merlin” theme does use Owl Carousel, so that may be affecting it as well – buy try the CSS ID change first.

I just made the change and it didn’t show up.

Is there anything else I could to do to make the plugin work again?

Well, ascertain whether its your (Merlin) theme that is clashing with Slide Anything. Activate another theme (e.g. the Twenty Seventeen theme) and see whether the SA Slider displays on that page. You can then re-activate your Merlin theme after this test.

I just tried this and it looks like the slider is working in other themes. It also works on the Marlin lite theme I was using before. The one I have now is the upgraded premium theme.
