    Hi there,

    After update the plugin to the 4.0, all sliders are gonne ??

    The version 3.2.3 is using other database tables than the new ones on the 4.0.

    3.2.3 database tables:
    – wp_huge_itslider_images
    – wp_huge_itslider_params
    – wp_huge_itslider_sliders

    and the 4.0 is using:
    – wp_hugeit_slider_slide
    – wp_hugeit_slider_slider

    So the new plugin don’t take care about the existing data?

    I think this must be fixed guys ??

    My customer is freaking out because he lost all the sliders and I had to downgrade to the 3.2.3.

    Thanks!

    Seriously this is not awesome! Same thing here, my client is pissed off because we just found this plugin last week and just got it fully integrated into their site to replace the last slider plugin we had used and now less than a week later this plugin is totally broken too? ugh…

    Not only are the old sliders gone, but the interface won’t even allow me to create new sliders either!

    @thedavis , @webgardengeek we are really sorry about that. We obviously cared about older data and that is why a migration was made in 4.0.0 version. But apparently some users with different servers had issues with migration during the update. We have fixed most of them in 4.0.1, give a try on a test website a.d let us know if that worked . Otherwise send us an email and we will try to fix it with developers

    I have the same problem my slider disappeared, I have made a new one, but I don’t know where to place the following code for the template of the page.

    <?php echo do_shortcode(“[huge_it_slider id=’1′]”); ?>

    I have the same problem but after I upgraded to 4.0.1. So I deleted the pics I had then re-installed five more. The slider only shows two. The other three show white boxes.

    @huge-it-support-1 thanks for the 4.0.1 now the migration for 3.2.3 is working well.

    But before i need to force the wp_option with option_name row = ‘hugeit_slider_version’ to 3.2.3 for force the migration, after that, i updated again to the 4.0.1 and it’s all working.

    Thanks for the quick support ??

    I switched back to 3.2.3 which is now working.
    With 4.01 none of the slider images appear.

    Version 4.01 does not work either. I had to downgrade to 3.2.3 to make it work.
    The problem are the database tables, that have been renamed without the data being copied to the new tables.

    @v2006 and others…..

    I was having exactly the same problem. I upgraded to 4.0.0 and it failed. So I removed it and reloaded 3.2.3 which worked OK.
    When 4.0.1 came I removed 3.2.3 again and installed 4.0.1. That failed. So I again went back to 3.2.3.and requested help from HugeIT.

    But now I have seen the comment on here from @theDavies: “But before i need to force the wp_option with option_name row = ‘hugeit_slider_version’ to 3.2.3 for force the migration, after that, i updated again to the 4.0.1 and it’s all working.

    That is the answer! Go to the table wt_options, find the row containing ‘hugeit_slider_version’. Even though you are running 3.2.3 it will say 4.0.1. (because of your earlier failed upgrade). Edit that back to 3.2.3. Now do a normal plugin update to 4.0.1. I think you will then find that your old slides will be correctly migrated and 4.0.1 will work. It did for me anyway. ??

    So the problem is understandable. Reverting to an old version does not change the stored version number. But if the version number is already 4.0.1, migration is not triggered!
