Sliders not working – Getting Timthumb Error
-
Hi everyone,
I installed a new theme (FreshBiz) in my wordpress staging environment and I’m having trouble getting the sliders to work. Images work throughout the site, just not in the sliders. When I check the error code for the images, I get this:
“A TimThumb error has occured
The following error(s) occured:
You may not fetch images from that site. To enable this site in timthumb, you can either add it to $ALLOWED_SITES and set ALLOW_EXTERNAL=true. Or you can set ALLOW_ALL_EXTERNAL_SITES=true, depending on your security needs.Query String : src=https://www.staging1.torontodogwalks.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/headerphoto.jpg&w=167&h=100&q=100&zc=1
TimThumb version : 2.8.11″I’ve checked the permission code for my cache folder and it’s set to 755. I tried 777, but nothing changed, so I put it back to 755 for now.
I’m at a loss here. I don’t have much experience with php or scripts in general, but I can follow directions and I have access to all my hosted files myself.
Any help would be greatly appreciated – I’ve been at this for 2 days without any progress.
