    Greetings (again),

I am having an issue with the meteorite slider on the theme where when I scroll it is moving the sliders and cutting them off. I’m not sure if this is due to the theme or the sliders themselves as it does a similar parallax effect with the main top image.

Attached as screenshots expressing what I’m talking about

I have several sliders and it is effecting all of them, but some of them don’t move and are simply cut off half of the way up

    Thanks again for the help

    EDIT: 1:58 PM –
Sometimes the images are fine on refresh, then when I move the page they immediately pop down. I have altered the height on the slider HTML code from 800 to 400, then 400 to 100 with no noticable change.

    [terra-themes-header-slider slider=”trivoliandlee” autoplay=”5000″ transition=”fade” navigation=”true” pagination=”true” stop_on_hover=”true” overlay=”true” height=”100″ responsive=”false”]

    Hi,

I never saw that behaviour before. Therefore I would need to take a look at the code of the page. Since I guess you are developing still local, this will not be possible.

The slider shortcode itself seems correct.

Did you make any changes to the theme, plugins, CSS or something like this?
Are the image sizes large enough for the screen?
Is this happening in more than one browser? Are they up to date?

Also you should try to change some settings at Appearence > Customize > Header area > Header settings. Turn off the parallax effects and so on to see whether this helps.

Furthermore you could deactivate all your plugins (except Terra Themes Tools which you need for the Terra Slider). If it is fixed then, try to enable them one by one. Each time, take a look if it displays correctly.

Instead of the Terra Slider you could also try any other slider plugin like one of these

I will test other sliders as it’s not “too” important. The only CSS that I changed was to make the menu items slightly larger.

I am having another issue, I’m not sure if I should make another topic but I don’t want to spam. I’m currently using the “Employees” feature of the theme and I have it set on the left sidebar, is there any way to get it so it moves vertically instead of horizontal?

Again, sorry for the spam lol

I don’t think that this is possible with just a few modifications. But you could change the number of items to 1 on all screen sizes in the widget options. That way only one employee is shown per slide.

Nah, no problem. That is what the support forum is for.

I actually had inspiration when I asked my question (Doh!) — I placed multiple employee widgets and defined 1 person per widget. That seems to have done the trick.

I will test the slider tomorrow but I’m pretty sure I can get it to work with a different one.
