• I am not sure why this is, but I believe your shortcode functions somehow strip other shortcodes’ functionality unless the shortcodes are encased with the [raw][other shortcode] [/raw] tags.

I love your theme – am wondering if this is happening for others.

I spent hours testing several sliders before trying this solution out and and worked fine, even if it is a bit kludgy and non-intuitive.

hi mchartley, i don’t think the theme had any built-in shortcode related functions. which part are you refering to?

I am not sure why using [raw] was necessary and after receiving your response, disabled other plugins and retested. Upon disabling Shortcodes Ultimate, [raw] was no longer necessary to have the sliders working.

I have not delved into why there is a conflict, but when I enable Shortcodes Ultimate again, the sliders don’t function without the [raw] code. It could be a bug in the latest version of that particular plugin as it has always worked before.

You are great at responding, by the way, and the work you have put into the theme is evident! Thanks much,

    Michele
