Slider’s a no show

    The slider doesn’t seem to work on the free version. I’ve followed the instructions to the letter.

    Nice to have the many layout options, but without the slider, I won’t be using this theme.

    If you have to go premium for the slider, that should be stated, and the option taken out of the Customizer.

    First of all thank you for the 5 stars.
    The documentation on how to create a slider on our site is referencing our other themes, not Donna. Apologies for the confusion. We will put together a doc on our site for Donna in a little while. All you have to do is create a Home page, go to Settings -> Reading and set the “Front Page Displays”, select “A static page”, from the dropdown “Front page” list choose the Home Page you just created, create a couple of Posts with images using the imageslider category, then go to Customize -> Donna Theme Options -> Image Slider Settings and choose “imageslider” from the Image Slider Category dropdown list. Should take no more than a few minutes. This will do the trick. Please let me know if you have any issues.
