    Hi stevert,

The screenshot on the link you provided is from one of SiteOrigin’s theme.

In Suki, the ability to make the header overlaying the content section is only available on Suki Pro (coming soon).

    Hey,
thank you for your reply. I was under the impression that it is possible with any theme.
One question though: Can I only insert ONE background image in the Pro version? Because I need an image slideshow/slider like the hero slider widget adds.

Suki Pro will allow you to make the header overlaying the content. This feature would be called “Transparent Header”.

If you want to add slider / slideshow in your content, you would still need Page Builder like SiteOrigin, Elementor, etc.

But if I use a slider plugin and Suki Pro, could I make something like this:

Thank you, that’s great! I just wasn’t sure whether a slider as the header background is possible, or if you could only have one simple image/color.

Will there also be additional blog/single post layouts in the pro version? It would be great to see a full demo of it…

Yes, it’s possible on Suki Pro, not in the free version. But again, you need to use additional slider plugin for the slider.

Blog layouts are on our roadmap for the 2nd release of Suki Pro. The first version contains more options for Header, Footer, Custom Icons, Custom Fonts, Custom Portable Blocks, and White Label.
