The Neve theme has divided the header into three sections (top, main, bottom) and created settings for each in the Customizer.

Problem is, the Neve theme has no visible place to insert a slider short-code or anything like that into the header area.

To use Elementor, would place the slider below the entire header area which is not where a “header” slider really goes.

I looked at your documentation, it has nothing regarding the use of a slider.
I searched here in this forum and nothing helps, to place the slider in the main header area.

I looked at the PHP templates and there is no place to specifically place any slider PHP code there either, especially when pages and the home page, use the exact same template.

I understand that in the Pro version, it provides a means to have a header image for the home page and different header image for the pages, but if I wanted to use a slider in the free Neve version, I cannot find any where to insert the slider into the header area.

Is there a method to insert a slider into the header area?

    Thanks

  • Hi @lospeso,

    Thanks for choosing Neve!

As you mentioned, the Conditional Headers feature from the Pro version of the theme could help achieve this. Using the free version of the theme, one option would be to use a dedicated plugin for the slider, add its shortcode in an HTML component in the Header Builder of the theme and this way it will be displayed on all the pages.

    Have a nice day!

Thanks, I will try that and see how it works.
