Slider very slow to react when navigation buttons clicked

    When a user clicks on either the dots or the left and right navigation arrows, the slider is very slow to react. What code do I need to change to make the slider respond faster to user input?

    Other than that all works well with the slider.

    The slider in question is the main slider on the homepage with the semi-trucks.

    I have Meta Slider Version 3.3.7 and I am using the Nivo Slider part of the plugin.

  • Hi there,

    In the ‘Advanced Settings’ panel try decreasing the value of the Animation speed setting – this controls the amount of time between slides/transitions.

    Thank you Dave. That absolutely did the trick. I think I misunderstood the usage of that particular setting.
