Slider taking FOREVER to load

    Hello!

    My slider on my home page takes almost minutes to load sometimes, and I just started noticing it today. I have tried deactivating and reactivating it, but that didn’t seem to do anything. I have also deleted some plugins that aren’t necessary, but nothing has changed. On top of that, my site seems to be going down ALLLLLL the time. At least once a week, and it has been doing this since the beginning of January. I’ve contacted Bluehost many times about it, but they like swear it isn’t them that’s causing the issue. So I don’t know if there is maybe something I need to do so everything begins to work properly, but any help or advice is appreciated. ??

    site going down is often a hosting issue (unless you are making frequent changes to things like plugins and themes)

    have you tested our site on webpagetest.org or pingdom? seeing the performance reports helps highlight problem areas.

    how large in KB or MB are the images in your slider?
    maybe using a different slider plugin would help.

    Hi!

    I was able to fix my image slider issue, but site going down is still a problem, unfortunately :/
