    Hi from Germany,
    I have pro byblos and would like to reduce size of the slider images on startpage, which I feel that they are too big and use too much space before other startpage information appears.

    On the left sideboard i put a search widget, refilling the search field because of black colour the introduced text is not visible

    How do I do this?
    Thanks a lot for help!

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi Martin, not solved yet. I am trying carefully some plugins for sliders. At the end I think the best would be a caroussel.

    As I am using also woocommerce incl. germenized I am changing to a cleaner template… No I am working for tests with storefront.

    The translation button is from GT

    Hi there,

    The slider size in Byblos free version is set to be 100% of the viewport. That is by design, to provide an image-centric focus for the slider.

    The pro version of Byblos has options to customize the slider height on desktop, tablet and mobile, as well as other settings such as delay, transition speed and effects. See this screenshot: https://snag.gy/VF6nHt.jpg

    You can also see the demo to see how it looks when the slider height is customized: https://byblos.smartcatdev.wpengine.com/

    Regarding the search bar in the vertical menu, you’re right, the text is not` visible. this is a bug that will be fixed in an update that will be available very soon. In the mean time, you can add this CSS in the custom CSS section in Customizer:

    .site-branding.dark .search-bar .search-field{
        background: transparent;
        color: #fff;
        outline: none;
        font-size: 14px;
    }

    .site-branding.dark .search-bar .search-field:focus{
        color: #fff;
    }

    Best regards

    Hell smartcat,

    BIG THANKS ! It works. Update also was done.

    BUT I just have a problem. I am using woocommerce with germanized version which this template (I got PRO) does not handle. I have absolutely no idea about programming, a fried did some month ago the adaption, but he is not available at the moment. So that child does not work with the update.

    What do I need to change to convert / adapt this for woocommerce/germanized working. After I reached this I will make a new child.

    Thanks for help

    Hi smartcat,

    maybe really stupid question, but where can i find this settings?!?

    Why the hell you have no documentation for this theme? I am really considering to want my money back.

    Also, the logo was too small, so i changed the size in CSS, its ok on PC. But Slider covers half of the logo on tablet and mobile.

    Thank you for faster reply. Martin
