Slider sometimes not displayed at all

  • Hello,
    I have got an issue with flexslider which sometimes, randomly, won’t display (hit ctrl-shift-R few times, it’ll sometimes show up, sometimes not.)
    I’ve used Activello theme on my website for 3 years and would need to update it now. It used to work fine yesterday, before I updated PHP to 7.4 & WordPress to 5.7 (cannot remember which versions I was using before), I have quite heavily modified the Activello theme a couple years ago and reckon if I updated it, I would lose all my changes.

    I would therefore need some help for either:
    – fix the slider.
    – transfer all my modifications to a child theme, so I can update the base Activello theme without losing everything.
