• Yesterday I bought on ThemeForest my first WP press (Curio) and I’m trying to customize it.

The theme has several sliders provided, so I’m trying to setup a nice one, but I’m having hard times.

Documentation doesn’t explain how to do, I googled and youtubed but without good results.

I installed WP Nivo Slider plugin (do I need it?), and I was able to almost accomplish my task.

I see the different slider frames but not images.

    Anybody can help?

    Thanks

  • As this is a commercial theme and its template files are not publically accessible, you need to seek support from the theme vendors.

    Esmi,
you’re right and I have asked support on Theme Forest.

But usually what are normal steps to setup a slideshow within WP?

Theme author said that I don’t need any additional plugin. so I removed WP Nivo Slider.

Could you please indicate me the correct normal sequence step by step?

    Thanks a lot
    ??

There is no slideshow functionality in WordPress core, so this must be part of your theme.

But don’t I have to go to Dashboard, Slideshow, create a new Slideshow, a new Category and some new posts and upload some images and feature them?

Then to go to Theme setting options for the theme?

    Isn’t this the way?

    Not in all themes, no.
