    Hi,

I have what I am hoping is a simple fix issue with additional top and bottom spacing on my front page Master Slider. I have tried various things to remedy the issue, from tweaking the slider setting and the rows settings but have reached a bit of a dead end.

The issue appears to relate to responsive sizing of Div id=pg-1954-0

Please let me know of any further info I can provide that will help.

    Many thanks,

    Hey Keriz,

    thank you for choosing Bento!
When you add the slider as a shortcode via a Text Widget element (which I believe is the case here, judging from the code), the widget adds paragraph tags which create that extra space. Please try either adding the slider by using the Master Slider widget. Alternatively, you can use the SiteOrigin Here built-in element to add sliders to the layouts in Bento as well.

Thank you so much! That’s resolved it. I didn’t realise there was a dedicated Master Slider widget, plus I don’t think I would have ever got the point of recognising that the text widget was putting the slider in a paragraph. So once again, thank you. Very grateful.

Glad it helped! As an aside (might be useful to know) – the Content Builder automatically adds all widgets found in the “Appearance – Widgets” WP admin section (incl. those created by third-party plugins) to the list of available elements while composing a page layout.
