Slider not working with Nextgen plugin

I am using the Attitude theme with the Nextgen image management plugin – all was fine with the Home page slider until the upgrade of Nextgen to version 2 – the theme’s slider has now stopped working. If I disable Nextgen the slider works again.

Help please – I need the theme and the plugin! What do I need to do to make them work together? Revert to the older version of Nextgen? Until when?
