Slider Not Working on Home Page

    Also, I’ve tried plugins by three different developers and the same thing happens when I try to post it on the home page, even though they all work when posted in a page, so it’s definitely a coding issue with the template not the plugins.

    Try switching to one of the default themes for a bit and see if it works.

    Also, it appears you’ve changed the theme’s name to Sydney Child but you don’t actually have a child theme. Perhaps you’d like to test with an original copy of Sydney, just to make sure.

    If I’m not actually using a child theme, what you just said would defeat the purpose of that suggestion, right? ??
