I am having a weird problem with the slider. I am pretty new to wordpress so bare with me.

I am working on a wordpress site for someone and cannot get the slider to work.

I have a version of the site set up locally on my computer and it works fine. I also have a version of the site set up on my personal website and it works fine.

However it does not show up on the production site I’m trying to set up. The HTML is all there and the styling seems to all be there but the LI tags are invisible. I see that the CSS defaults the LI tags as being invisible so it looks like somehow the JS isn’t attaching to it.

I’ve altered the slider a bit, mostly just the CSS. The one change I made to the PHP files is I changed the_exceprt() to the_content() on like 327 of genesis-responsive-slider.php.

This all works fine locally and on my personal server. Just not on the production site.

    The production site is taichiqigongseattle.com

The test site on my personal server is immeasurablespectacle.com/QiGongSite/

Any help as to what’s not working on the would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

Do you have a launchpad/coming soon type plugin running?

You have a script error on the production site.

Ok. Thanks. I figured it out. It seems that somehow the settings didn’t update right when I was initially fixing them to match my local environment.

The value for directionNav came across as empty instead of 0, which it shows locally and on my test site. I added the linear nav back in and then removed it again and it seems to have uploaded correctly.

    Thank you for your assistance.
