Hi, I purchased a single licence of Soliloquy version 1.5.7.1 and, while I like the plugin (how it showcases slides and fits into the theme, and its usability) I experienced these problems:

    1. I can’t verify my license key as it always showed this message:
“There was an error connecting to the remote key API. Please try again later.”
    2. in order to actually see the slideshows in the website, a reload of the website page itself is needed, otherwise only the first slide is displayed and no slider element nor the possibility to slide is shown. Sometimes not even the first slide is shown, just blank space

I switched to Soliloquy version 2.0, deleting previous installation and rebuilding the slideshows. But none of the problems above disappeared, and (maybe not related to soliloquy) additionally now some texts from the website sometimes don’t show up.

These problems are present both in Chrome and Firefox.

    This is the website
    https://www.francescobagni.it/
and you can see sliders here

Following instructions that i found on wp forums i found that this error is shown from the javascript console:
event.returnValue is deprecated. Please use the standard event.preventDefault() instead.

my hosting meets wp requirements as it runs
    PHP version 5.5.6
    MySQL version 5.5.35-cll

WP is also upgraded to latest version
WordPress 3.8.1 running Workality Lite theme.
I have the wp-footer code in my footer.php.

Thanks in advance for any help with this
    Francesco
