    Hello.

I am using the plugin SliderPro v4.8.5 on my WordPress.

I discovered recently that our slider doesn’t show up properly on iPhones.
My Environment : iPhone XR / iOS 16.0.2

Nothing is displayed where the slider appears.
The images displayed on the slider are in JPEG format.
On PC and Android, the slider displays correctly.

Please let me know what I should do to work around this issue.

    Hi,

Can you share a link to the page where the slider is used?

    Best,
    David

    Hi, David

Please access the following page with your iPhone and check it.
    https://machidaclip.com/lunch/001s00078/
A slider will appear under the words “料理のおすすめポイント”

    I try it….
This occurs in both safari and chrome.
I checked the error using the Chrome Developer tools on my PC, but no error occurred.

    Best regards、
    Hiroko

    Hi Hiroko,

The issue seems to occur because a few scripts, including the jQuery library, which the slider depends on, are loaded asynchronously (async mode). What happens is that async scripts are not loaded in the order they were added in the page, so the slider’s script could be loaded before the jQuery script has finished loading, which causes an error. Please try to disable the async mode and see if this solves the issue. The async option could be somewhere in the theme options or some optimization plugin.

    Best,
    David
