Slider not showing in full width

Hi, the slideshow is set to 1000×330, but the slides are 940×200, did you upload the slides before setting the current size? The slides are sized to fit when they are uploaded, try re-uploading them to get them to fit the current size.

Thanks for getting back to me – I tried the solution but it’s still the same size. It has worked before on the development site but not on this one.

Is there any other solution, do you think?

The slides are still 940×200, are the slide images you re-uploaded 1000×330 to match the slideshow?

Okay – from that I should resize the slides? I’ll do that now

To get the best results, prep the slide images to match the slideshow size exactly in an image editor before uploading them to WordPress.

I tried – I’m reset the slider size to 947 x 288 which is the exact dimension of these two (identical) pictures and I did that before uploading them. It still doesn’t work…I’m wondering if I’ve done anything to cut off the slider? When I first used it, in development, the image was cropped as soon as it was uploaded to the slider (I’m pretty sure).

The second slide is correct, the bottom of the slide is just hidden because the first slide is shorter. The first slide is 1000×330, are you sure you reuploaded that one at 947 x 288 after changing the slideshow size?

Thanks so much for your help – I took your advice and re-uploaded the pictures making sure they are sized to the slider and it seems to work.

The client is very confused as to what size they want it so I will just have to mess around with it which is why I have the two differently sized slides in it.

No problem, you can use different size images, as long as the first slide is the largest, but I think you get the best results when the slides are all the same size.
