• I set up a basic slider on my home page. No effects, no-auto-play. I have not had any luck with it responding to size adjustments via the admin area. The slider works, but no matter what I set the height and width to, the Slider remains fixed around 1000 x 1000.

The console produced the folowing js error:

TypeError: undefined is not a function (evaluating ‘$(‘#metaslider_1724′).flexslider’)

    Hi, Dave,

Unfortunately, my site is on localhost.

But here’s another debugging error. Basically, saying the same thing as above.

TypeError: $(…).flexslider is not a function

    Ok no problem.

Have you seen our troubleshooting guide:
    https://www.metaslider.com/documentation/troubleshooting/

This error could be caused a handful of ways.

    Thanks,
    Dave

Hey, thanks, Dave. I looked but wasn’t able to find that particular entry. I’ll check it out. I’ll post here if I get it resolved.

    Thanks, again.

Afraid I’m still not having any luck. None of those troubleshooting issues seem to apply to me. jQuery is definitely loading to the page, and not more than once. My footer and head functions are in place.

I tried the Smart Slider 2 plugin and it seems to work well. Just disappointing since I prefer this one. Thanks, though.
