I was using <?php if (function_exists('easing_slider')){ easing_slider(); }; ?> for all my sites to display easing slider. After update, the slider disappeared, perhaps because this code no longer works.
Could you please release an update to make this code work again? ??
Perhaps set that code to pull up the oldest (created earliest) slideshow if there are more than one slideshow?
I have many sites and really prefer not to have to edit code on each site. ??
    I’d really appreciate your help.
    Looking forward to your response,
    Thanks,

  • Same here. This needs to be fixed or provide a link from the version that works.

Hey. I can try and modify this behaviour, but the code was previously changed to <?php if (function_exists('easingsliderlite')){ easingsliderlite(); }; ?> over 2 years ago, so I’d recommend you now use that or bite the bullet and modify the code.

This is how the plugin is going to work for the foreseeable future, so the time invested in the change will really prevent future headaches ??

Apologies for the inconvenience caused. I’ll see what I can do.

Ok, so I’ve just released v2.2.0.4 with a fix for this. Should do the job! The old template function and shortcode should now work ??

For anyone who’s slider has disappeared after the update, but you can see it in the admin area, this is the update for you.

Thank you Jeanette, you’re far too kind! ?? I’m always happy to help! ??

I didn’t realize the code changed. I updated my sites and that took care of it.

    Thanks Matthew!
