Slider is not displayed

Hi,

I have a problem with the slider gallery that should display on the start page.

I have the option in “Design – Theme Options – General – Display a slider of sticky posts on the front page” enabled.

Also I have selected 4 posts as sticky.

But in the area where the slider should be displayed I can only see the navigation arrows, the pause sign and the dots that show the amount of posts in the slider. No pics or texts unfortunately …

Can anybody help me with this problem?
