Slider is frozen

    Meta Slider is a great plugin and I have been very happy with it until today. Did an update cause problems for other people? The slide show is now frozen. Arrows are turned on but they are not visible, and neither are the dots. Is this something that can be fixed, please? Any suggestions would be very helpful. Thanks.

  • Hi @hmahraj, I took a closer look. Are you able to upgrade WordPress beyond 4.5? It appears you’re on WordPress 4.3.13, which we want to support, but we currently have a bug that is causing problems with this version.

    A theme update is needed. I hope this will resolve the problem.

    Hey @hmahraj, sorry for the delay. I attempted to research how to disable the cache with that plugin, but I can’t find their documentation. Is it a free plugin? Do you know the name of it on WP?

    Hi @kbat82, yes, it is the free version of the plugin. Here is a link to their documentation.

    In the meanwhile, I took the plugin down from my site (offending plugin still active) and substituted it for something else as I had to have a slider of some kind.

    MetaSlider plugin security check doesn’t speak of any vulnerability but I guess a non working plugin does not apply.
