Slider in Header cannot link to Homepage

  • Dear Forumists,

    I use Weaver Xtrem Plus and create a Weaver-Slider-Post to show it in the head as a banner. I put the shortcode in the header-HTML-content.
    It slides fine, but:

    I’ve checkmarked the Theme-Header-Option “Header Image Links to Site”.
    but I cannot define a link to my Startpage, wether on the Image nor in the post. Have I overlooked something, or is it impossible for now?

    can anybody help, please?
