Slider in Background (child theme)

  • Hi,

    I’ve been trying to use this slider in the background of the homepage on our website but I can’t get the slider to appear. I am using a the genesis framework with a child theme. I have tried adding the php code in the header scripts but nothing seems to be working.

    Any help would be much appreciated.

    Hi,
    Please first try to put Master Slide on a page by using its shortcode to see whether it works or not. If it works then there is no conflict on your site for Master Slider, in this case there should be a mistake on the way you are putting Master Slider on your background.
    Please try that and let us know also make sure there is no JS error on you console of your site.

    Hi,

    The slider works fine when I place it on a page. Maybe I’m putting the code in the wrong place as it is a child theme. Our website is https://www.precisionfinancial.co.uk

    Hi,
    Please note this is beyond our support scope.
    There are lots of js errors on your console which you should fix them.
    Press “ctrl” + “shift” + “j” to see thoes errors.
