Slider & Homepage Blocks not working.

  • I am trying to use this theme in my website but I am finding a few problems.

    1- The slider image sizes are different, is there no way for the slider to auto resize the images accordingly?

    2- The homepage blocks aren’t working, example:
    SSD Section
    4 Posts from the SSD Section
    CPU Section
    4 Posts from the SSD Section

    I select all of it and it just doesn’t show up in the homepage.

    For slider image sizes you can use the plugin “Simple Image Sizes” and set the max height for the slider images,
    For the blocks it seems like you have only two posts under SSD section category, you will have to add more posts under the category for more posts to show up.

    Not even those 2 show up though so I don’t think post count is the problem

    The link seems to show the SSD category and CPU category just fine.

    Seems like you have not set a static front page, after the update you need to set a static front page. Please create a blank page “Home”. Go to “Settings >> Reading” and select “A static Page” option, assign newly created blank ‘Home’ page under Front Page dropdown.

    Oh, is there no way to show the SSD’s and CPU’s posts under the slider and under the CPU’s show the latest posts?

    The whole idea of making a static front page is for the posts to show under the slider.
    If you select it you can make them appear.
