Slider has bugs

The slider only works if it only has a background image. Even then, I need to play with it a lot for it to display properly. Initially, it has a huge left margin (even for the full width slider). How do I get it to work properly the first time, and not have to go back and forth with it. (For example, some of the image settings don’t work like “fill” or “stretch” only one works).
Also, if I add anything to the body of the psst, for example a contact form; the form appears over the slide background image fine, but on the top of the slide appears the code for the slide and / or the form or whatever I have in there. How do I get it to have something on the slide without having a bar of code on the top of the slider?
