    Hi,

    Thanks!

I have defined slider from homepage by the strings translations.
Each of my 3 languages has its own slider (homepage-slider-en, homepage-slider-nl and homepage-slider-pt.
For another page I want to do the same, but I can not define different slider.
    For example:
3 languages: en, nl, pt (same page in 3 languages)
I have defined slider as slider-extra-en, slider-extra-nl en slider-extra-pt, but how can I give each one its own slider?
I have tried to define it on each translation page, but it only accepts the last one.

    Cheers!!

    Hi Chrystl,

    Thanks.
I have been already there, but still can not have it working.

My frontpage works goed. I have 3 sliders for that – one in each language.

What I do not get working is a slider for another page. Id doesnot matter what I try it shows for all 3 languages the same slider, so only 1 slider language is shown. I have 3 different sliders. one for each language but cannot get it working…

you can see here what I mean if you get the time to…

Could you provide some admin screen shot to reproduce your steps?

    I have:
    — 3 pages linked to each other ( en-nl-pt)
    — 3 sliders. One for each language.

Then I go to the first page, let’s say NL and assign the slider-nl to this page. Save.
Then, I choose the en version os this page and assign the slider-en and Save.

If I have a look to the page at this point, both nl and en pages will show only the sliders-en (the last one assigned).

I have here a page from the piece where you can see the page is linked to each other.

The slider was using de slider in dutch.

after I have changed the english page to use the english slider, so now you see only the english slider is shown for all languages.

    Thanks!

Pls let me know if some more screenshotas are needed.

Did you check the “Custom Fields” option in the Synchronization module (Settings > Languages > Settings tabs)?

    Thanks a lot @chrystl

It was a matter of uncheck it as you said by another thread.

this is exactly the tip I needed to have.

    It is now working!
