Slider doesn't work after upgrade to V2.0!

I also upgraded and updated to latest version (Soliloquy version 2.1.1) and the slider at the top of my website (banner) got too small since I upgraded this morning!

What should be done now?

I think Thomas should retire this version until it is fixed. Beta test it and don’t post it until it is working properly…

@bioaquaria: If you can uninstall the new version and revert back to the one you had before, you may need to reassign the images, but I guess that should be simple enough?

I deleted the plugin and reinstalled my old zip file, and miraculously, all my sliders and data were still there. Whew!

I won’t update until we know all is well.

YESSSSS! Glad to hear you got it done… ?? I know how it can feel, been there before, so all the help we can share it’s good to see people get out of the temporary pothole…

I have just updated to v2.0.4 which should fix the sizing issues. I have also added 1.5.2 as a tag for those who need to revert for a time until the bugs are sorted out. I do sincerely apologize for the issues it has caused, and I am working as much as I can this weekend to help get it on the right track. The v2 update is much faster and more future proof, but unfortunately it has had some bugs. Thanks for hanging in there, and I promise we will get it all resolved soon!

Yes I did that I went back to 1.5.2 so now it is working fine

It’s a truly awful feeling to break potentially thousands of people’s sites, so I am working as fast as I can to get this resolved. I really do care that people succeed with my products, so I will make sure to get this resolved just as soon as possible.

As a business owner I had to switch out the slider and use a static image instead over the weekend because a lot of people were stumbling on my site (don’t know why the interest spiked there and then hahaha…) but am going back to try. Even if it doesn’t work, I’ll use my old copy of SL because I love it so much.

@bykaraanne – thanks, and I completely understand. I am a business owner too, so I get when decisions need to be made. I don’t want to be on the adverse side of that decision, but sometimes it happens. I’m working to fix that. Thanks for using Soliloquy!!

Bless your heart having to deal with this while you’re sick, too! Thanks for working hard on it. It’s a great product, and I’ll be glad to see what’s next. For now, I’m using 1.5.2 and it seems to be back to how it looked before.

I’m using Developer version 2.1.3 and the slider at the top of my page is still very small. I would like to go back to 1.5.7 version until things are solved. I don’t have that version files.
