    Hi guys,

    thanks for the great template. I enjoy working with ??

    I have a question. I wanted to display the nice slider on the homepage and when I tried to display my own posts instead of the example that comes with it, the design gets messed up.

    My post description (content part) is longer than just a few words, and it tries to display the whole post content, which is way to much for the slider.
    How can I set it, so it only shows a short excerpt / a short part of the content on the slider?

    I tried writing the text I want to be displayed in the “excerpt” part, but that didn’t change anything.
    Do you have some ideas?

    Cheers!

    Hi again,

    I figured it out by myself..
    Just in case somebody also runs into that problem, here is how I solved it.

    Its actually quite simple.
    In your post just insert a “more” link in the post content text where you want the displayed part on the slider to end.

    You can do that with the button in the editor. or simply add a html comment like this in the text-mode:
    <!--more-->

    On the slider on the frontpage the content will be displayed until the more link and even have a “more…” link on it that you can click an brings you straight to the post.

    Cheers

    Oh goodness, thank you. This was driving me absolutely crazy, and the answer was so simple!
