Please could you let me know how I can change the ‘Read more’ link on the slider to:

    1. link to a different post instead of the slider post
    2. say something other than ‘Read more’
    3. Include a link like the ‘Purchase now’ one in the demo

Also, how can I get content from the homepage (Settings > Reading > Static > My Homepage) to appear under the slider on the homepage?

    Hi,

First of all download “Child-Theme” package using this LINK

Now copy the “home-slider.php” file from your core theme

directory and paste into your “Child-Theme” directory.

Now open it in any text editor.

And find the below line of code snippet

and replace it with your text like: “Purchase Now”

    Save the changes.

In free version we can’t use “Custom Post Type”.

So we can’t change the slider “Read More” button link.

It will redirect on the post detail page only not on other page.

    Hope you understand.

For further help let us know.

    Thank You

    Hi,

Does that mean on the paid version, I can point the link on a slide to any other page instead of the same post that makes the slide?

And how can I get content from the homepage (Settings > Reading > Static > My Homepage) to appear under the slider on the homepage?

    No, that’s not right.

Say I’ve set my static homepage to be the page ‘My Homepage’. I put content on this page within the regular WP editor e.g. “Hi, welcome to this website [shortcode_example] etc.”

But when I set up the Kyma homepage options, the homepage content doesn’t appear.

I want the homepage content that I’ve created to appear on the homepage beneath the slider.

    Hi,

You are talking about to show extra content in Home page.

This feature is available in PRO.

Where you can show contents or put shortcodes.

In free version you can completely remove Kyma home page and set your static page on front.
(Settings > Reading > Static > My Homepage)

    Thanks

Thanks, but after all this I’ve decided to use a different theme.
