Hey. The slider code has removed my header.php file.
I put the code of the slider in the header area, and clicked “save”, after which I received a message about not saving this code.
After that, my content in the header file has been lost.
So I updated my theme to the latest version, and i recovered the header file content.
Then, I copied and wrote the contents of the document header code into txt and I did the same with the slider code what earlier , and again my content in the header was lost. I am trying to paste the header code from the txt document, but I always have the “error, I can not save” information. Any advice?
    My header.php:
    https://scr.hu/vv0Zoq
    I have Portfolio Gallery theme.

  • Hi,

Please note that the slider should not remove the header php file.

The header file is just not saved. You can recover and try to save without adding the slider to check whether it is empty or not.

You can try to edit the file with the help of FTP or try to insert the slider as a widget.

    Thanks. Have a nice day.

I did that: I removed “portfolio gallery” theme and uploaded it again. It helped. Now, i see slider in the my website. But I have it at the top of the page but how i can placed slider in the middle of the page?

    Hi,

Please add the shortcode of the slider not in the header.php but just insert it in the page by following the steps in the user guide.

The guide also has directions in the case you would like to add Slider to a PHP Template.

We will be able to provide more certain directions in which part of the template to insert the code if you could share with us the URL of the page and the screenshot of the part of the page where you want to have the slider.

    Thanks. Have a nice day.
