I’m having a problem with the slider. As soon as I activate it and click on images, it looks like I’ve been on another page, and when I click on lots of images and want to go back, I have to click back lots of times. Of course, when I deactivate the slider, everything works correctly.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello,

Im not quite sure I understand the issue. “As soon as I activate it and click on images, it looks like I’ve been on another page”

I visited your site. When I click the image it opens the “lightbox” (big image black background).

I did not find any issue navigating the slider. Maybe you can be more explicit or indicate what you expected.

    Cheers,
    David

Hi David, if you’d like to try it out, that would be great.
Go to the navbar and go to jewellery -> all jewellery click on the second product for example. Select the photos in the slider and then try to go back in the page of all the products. This won’t be possible because every time I click on an image in the slider it looks like I’m on a new page. Can you help me with this?

I tried to replicate but Im still missing what you are saying. “on an image in the slider it looks like I’m on a new page”
    On a new page?
Can you create a video or screenshoots sequence of what you are seeing that is wrong? I really want to help out.

    Cheers,

    Hello David,

Here’s the link to what I’m trying to explain.

Second question: is it possible to manage the zoom and set the zomm to 150% of the photo displayed?

    (@drosendo)

I think I understand what you mean now, I think.

    Let’s break it down:

    1. “I’m experiencing an issue with the slider. When I activate it and click on images, it seems like I’ve been redirected to another page.”

      – The difference lies in how the slider adjusts the thumbnail images to fit within the carousel. Without the slider, SVI relies on your default image settings. To address this, you can adjust the image size display in WooCommerce > SVI > Global TAB. Navigate to Image settings and select “Thumbnail Image Size” according to the registered sizes of your project. This adjustment should ensure that the images fit properly.
    2. “Additionally, when I click on numerous images and wish to return, I find myself having to click back numerous times. However, when I deactivate the slider, everything operates correctly.”

      – SVI doesn’t interfere with the navigation history. It solely modifies images. The navigation issue may be related to another plugin or option you have enabled. Although I’ve noticed it while navigating, it’s unrelated to SVI. Maybe you are using a plugin to split the variations to single products. IDK.
    3. “Lastly, is it possible to manage the zoom and set it to 150% of the displayed photo?”

      – Unfortunately, the jQuery plugin used for the zoom feature doesn’t offer an option to adjust the displayed zoom percentage. It loads the full image instead. This approach ensures consistency across images with varying dimensions. However, I suggest optimizing the uploaded original images to a more suitable size for web display to address this concern.

    Hope this helps outs.

    Hello David,

Thank you for your answers. Points 1 and 3 are well understood, thank you.

However, for point 2, I totally understand the fact that SVI doesn’t interfere with the browsing history, but why is it that when I deactivate the slider, I no longer have these additions in the history?

    Thank you for your time.

I understand what you are saying but I have no possible action to interfere with that.
If you had a staging site it would be great to try to figure it out. But my guess is that there is someother conflicting plugin that maybe grabbing actions it should not.
Maybe try disabling all other plugins leave woocommerce and SVI active. See it issue persists. if not then start activating 1 by 1 until you find what other option can cause this.

    Hi David,

I figured out what was causing the bug. It was indeed a plugin that was of interest here. Thanks for your time and have a nice day.
