Slider breaks on Android phone (only)

    Hi – Love the plugin very much – however am having an issue with Android phone where the screen turns to white as soon as I touch the screen/slider. (iOS and desktop browser at mobile resolutions work just fine)

    With my Android 14 phone using Chrome, I cannot touch the slider area to scroll or to follow the CTA without my whole screen going white, leaving just the site logo visible. I had built a slider previously that used a different Depicter template – hoping I just did something stupid – but can’t for the life of me figure why Android is so unhappy with this slider ??

    Hi.

    I’m gald to hear that you love working with the Depicter.? Hearing this helps a lot to work harder and harder ??

    I have checked this via multiple devices and the slider does show up properly without the white screen issue.?

    May I ask you to check again maybe with another device? 

    There is a minor issue that we are aware of and it is when both the sliding direction and the swiping direction from the slider settings are set to vertical. In your case I did not notice the white screen problem but I suggest that you check these settings too. Most probably setting one of them to horizontal will resolve the problem.

    Hi – thank you for looking into this also –

    They actually found a bug in the code and have implemented a temporary fix on my implementation – changing the sliding direction from vertical to horizontal cleared things up. This has been submitted to the dev team to be fixed in a future build.
