Slider and Infinite Scroll Stopped Working

  • Hello, I am using the most recent version of Pinboard. Everything has been working fine, but suddenly both my slider and infinite scroll stopped working. I now have only a static image in the slider (no forward/back arrows, and it does not cycle through the images), and the infinite scroll has disappeared (now it only says Load More Articles at the bottom of the page).

    I have not changed any settings recently. The settings are still set to enable both of these features. Has anyone else experienced this?

  • Ensure that the posts that your slider images are using have the visibility of “Sticky” assigned to them.

    For the second issue look at Theme>Appearances> then under Post Navigation change Static Links to Infinite Scroll.

    I had the same issue but just saving the above again somehow got it to fix. Failing that maybe download a cache plug in (WP Super Cache etc) then delete the cache it may force the page to show again.

    Did you manage to get this sorted? I am experiencing the same issues.

    Tried the jquery-migrate thing too, since earlier versions seem to have had this problem when updating. However, this is version 1.12. Also tried going back to 1.11, but neither worked. Not sure which version I had when it last worked. I did have the same issues with videos overlapping the sidebar though, so it seems to be similar to earlier reported issues.

    Hey Roger, I did get it sorted out. I deactivated all of my plugins and then reactivated 1 by one. It turned out that two were causing a conflict (but it seemed like only when they were both on) – hopefully that helps. It was basically just trial and error.

    Yeah, I just figured out that it is a banner plugin called Adrotate causing the error. Thanks!
