Slider and homepage translation using polylang

    I’m building the EN version of https://www.rikkosteel.ro/ro/ but i can’t tell how should i proceed regarding the homepage and the slider since the modifications are made in the Appearenace / Customise panel and it’s not a static page but the latest blog posts in the Reading panel.

    Can i make the same homepage using a static page and make two versions of them for both languages?

    Kindly Create a New Home page and assign Home page Template.

    Follow This Link

    Then Edit Reading Setting

    Front page: Home Page Template.
    Posts page: Blog page

    then save and Check

    Great, made the homepage & slider

    can you give me a pointer how to translate the fields which were made in the customize panel? meaning the Contact callout, six service sections and the latest news texts …

    If not you can close the thread as solved since you already answered my original question …

    Hi,

    1. File Download Click Here
    Save this code by the file name wpml-config.xml
    2. Paste this file into your theme folder.
    3. Save your all option value in one language.
    Go to => WP-Menu => Settings => Languages => Click on String Translation Tab =>
    Here you can find your option value then enter your text for selected language.
    Refer attach screen shot. Click Here

    Awesome theme but more than this .. awesome support.

    Can you provide the wpml codes for blog-btn-area-sm and slide-btn-area-sm which are the two call 2 action buttons which repeat all over the site?

    Made them from polylang switch …
