    How on earth do I had a main image on the image on this with text next to like the default picture of the theme. So confusing!!

  • Scroll down on the “add new post” page, at the bottom right is the “featured picture” this is what you are looking for!

    Hey there! Just like @airproductions mentioned, you just need to add a featured image to your posts to display the thumbnails. If you’d like specific posts in that featured posts area (not your latest posts) you can set a few posts to sticky or use Jetpack’s featured content mod.

    Also note that the featured content block is not a slider, it’s just a static list of five featured posts. Hope that helps!
