Slider 2 Shifts Image to the Right

    Hello –

    When I upload my images into sliders 1, 2, & 3, image 2 will always appear shifted to the right. It won’t matter which image I put in the Image 2 slot, this image will appear shifted to the right.

    I have tried using only 2 images, and the second slider image will shift to the right. I have tried loading images into 1, 3, & 4, and still, the image in the 3rd slot (2nd image) will appear shifted to the right.

    I have tried multiple times and will rearrange my images for slides 1, 2, & 3. It won’t matter which image is in slide 2, it will appear shifted to the right.

    The place I am making the changes is under Theme Options.

    Maybe I should also mention. The dimensions of my 3 photos are all the same (5500 x 3500) and the file sizes are all approximately the same at about 3.1MB.

    Another comment, I reduced all 3 of my photos to 785 by 500 px, reducing the size significantly and placed them in a random order and still, the image in slider slot 2 was adjusted to the right when visiting the main homepage.

    Hi Roy,

    No one commented like slider 2 moving to the right.

    We tested this theme so many times since its been 3 months from launch and we also released a PRO version.

    Send us screen grabs as to how slider 2 is moving to the right.

    Hi – thank you for your reply. I’ve replied by email because I am not sure how to include screenshots in this forum. But will still explain the issue as I had in the email.

    In this first scenario, the first 2 screenshots are of Slider Image 1 and Slider Image 2. You will see, if my browser window is very wide, both pictures are centered and there is not an issue.

    In the second scenario, I shrink my browser window to something smaller. This time I’ve included three screenshots for Slider Image 1, Slider Image 2, and Slider Image 3. You’ll notice that Slider Image 1 and 3 will correctly center, making my profile the centerpiece. But, Slider Image 2 always shifts to the right in any browser window size smaller than the first scenario outlined above. Again, the image in Slider 2 does not matter (trying various images of varying sizes), it will be shifted. Also, all my images are the same dimensions and same size. I’ve seen this issue persistent in Chrome, Safari, and Firefox browsers.

    Hi Roy,

    This is how supersized script works. To keep it full width the image adjusts itself and tries to show most of the image but not 100% of the full image.

    If we try to show the full image then it won’t remain full width on all browsers and hence it shifts as well as adjusts itself as per the screen resolution trying to show most of the image but not the whole image.

    Thank you for your response. I’m not sure I understand why this is only happening to images in Slider 2 and not for images in other slider spots (i.e. 1, 3, 4).

    Mine shifted on 4 and 5. So I moved 5 to position 1, and deleted five. Now it does it on 3 and 4 instead. In my case, it is the last two slides.

    In main.css (under the css folder in the theme) I deleted position: relative; under .slider-wrapper and it seems to work now. It doesn’t appear to affect anything else.

    It appeared to fix it on Firefox (only a slight jump) but not on other browsers. Back to the drawing board.

    The reason why others won’t have mentioned it, is that it only becomes noticeable if you have slides that are similar – see https://www.beingcreative.co.za.
