  • Earlier today I upgraded to Slideshow version 2.2.25 from the previous version. First I found out the forward and reverse < and > controls were not there, and second I have a gallery page set up with 12 slide shows in a matrix, and they were all in 1 column. I restored the earlier version and all is well now. You can check out the working version at https://homespecialistsinc.com/gallery/.

Please let me know when it’s fixed. If you need any more info, please contact me.

    Thanks,
    Bu44ard

@bu44ard I am not sure what error you received but it is working well in my testing platform.

@shabazz10 how many images have you added to one slideshow?

Well, I didn’t receive an error code or an error message. It just displayed incorrectly as I described in my last post.

One slideshow has 22 slides, the others have less than that.

How do I find an earlier version. I am not getting a error message, it just does not work. I can see the slides above my post but it won’t activate https://www.envizionit.net

Can you try the following, deactivate all your other plugins except this one. Can you see if the slide is working?

I tried that and it did not work I also tried deleting and reinstalling the plug in still not working. This could all be that I am new to word press and understand very little at this time. Do I need to create a gallery first then try to use the gallery as a slide show

Hi in the FAQ section of this plugin it mentions the following to troubleshoot your issue.

The slideshow does not show up

The slideshow is mostly called after the </head> tag, which means the scripts and stylesheet need to load in the footer of the website. A theme that has no <?php wp_footer(); ?> call in it’s footer will not be able to load the slideshow’s scripts.

Often when the slideshow isn’t showing, there’s a javascript error somewhere on the page and this error has caused javascript to break. For the slideshow to work again, this error needs to be fixed. Check if any errors were thrown by opening Google Chrome or Firefox (with Firebug installed) and press the ‘F12’ key. Errors show in the console tab.
