Slide show includes text (1140 X 502) I didn't add

    My slider show suddenly started to rotate text (“1140 X 502”) before and after each of my images. See site at joebruha.com

    How do I get it to stop displaying this text? I tried reloading the photos and also checked and unchecked the box to add the postings to my slide show, but it keeps appearing. There is no post with this text.

    Here’s a sample of the code on one of the postings. Your suggested fix is much appreciated!

    I don’t know if you’ve solved this since posting, but I don’t see any of the rotating text you’re talking about.

    On a side note however, how did you get the main slider to remain full sized with the Recent posts, Recent comments etc. sidebar below? Whenever I try to add anything to the sidebar it pushes the whole slider over and is aligned with the top of the slider. I want to make it similar to yours where the slider remains full sized and the sidebar contain is below it

    I did get it resolved, but I had to pay someone to figure it out. Turns out I was embedding the photos in my posts AND clicking the Featured Image box without loading the image. So, the code, I show in my question above was completely unnecessary. (The 1140×502 was just the placeholder image that gets loaded if you do NOT have a Featured Image set and click the box to include it in the slider.) The pictures I was embedding were displaying, but so was the 1140×502 placeholder

    To have a photo show up in the slider, you need to set the photo to be the Featured Image for a Post in the bottom right corner, and not embed the photos in the Post as I had previously done.

    When I want the image to be full sized in the slider, I do not include
    any copy (text) in the post so text doesn’t show up in the slider too. I also select the large size for the featured image. Hope this helps you. If not, you may want to start a fresh thread with the question and post a link to your site so people can see the problem. Good luck.
