    Hi,
I have a slide-in set up to display at the top of the homepage of this site but on smaller screens and mobiles it only flashes up and disappears. The slide-in is set to immediate and to stay in place which works ok on desktops. Could you help please?
    Many thanks

    Hi @mar1as,

I hope you are doing well today!

Please share an export of the slide-in which will help us to check the issue further.

You can export it from Edit section : https://prnt.sc/l2j57sk39gQR

After exporting, please share the contents of the json file using a service such as https://pastebin.com which is free to use. You can also share the json file itself by services like Google drive.

Please always make sure to use such service to share the code and don’t post the code here directly as it will most likely be unusable.`

    Kind regards,
    Zafer

    Hi,

Here is a link to the json file https://pastebin.com/zB0H7wAW

I notice that it specifies the condition as being displayed on the url (altered for pastebin) but I have actually chosen only this page as the condition and then selected the homepage from the list of pages. I’m not sure if it is defaulting to that because it has identified it as the homepage.

    Thanks

    Hi @mar1as,

I am afraid the import failed at our end. Can you please confirm if you downloaded the JSON file and shared it with us without renaming it?

Can you please share the file using Google Drive or DropBox instead of pastebin.com?

We look forward to hearing back from you.

    Kind Regards,
    Nebu John

    Hi @mar1as,

I imported the slide-in to a test website at our end but couldn’t replicate the issue. The slide-in shows up without any problems on the mobile devices.

I see you have added a visibility rule but have not configured it properly under the Visibility tab of the Slide-in. Please remove the same and update us here so we can check this on your website.

We look forward to hearing back from you.

    Kind Regards,
    Nebu John

    Hi,

I have removed the visibility settings. What is wrong with the set up please as I had selected Pages from conditions and then chose the page (the homepage) from the list of pages that display once you start to type as that is the only page we want it to show on. That was the only visibility I have in place but as I mentioned previously in this thread, the json file is showing it has picked the url which is not what is set.

I still see it still flashes up and then disappears on the homepage even after the visibility settings have been removed but is staying place on the other pages.
    Thanks

    Hi @mar1as

    Thank you for response!

I can see that behavior on your site only but I don’t even need to use real mobile device – it also happens in browser’s “responsive view”.

It seems to be related to JS issues on site. There’s a set of JS error reported in browser console and while some (related to jQuery) happen all the time, some are happening only on mobile view.

Are you using any JS optimization plugins/tools/options on site such as e.g. some script or function to defer (delay) scripts loading or e.g disabling some scripts on certain pages?

If yes, would you try disabling such optimization options temporarily and test if the issue is still happening?

If this is not the case then, I’m afraid, we’d need to find out what’s causing these issues and they way to do this is to conduct a full conflict test, meaning:

    – temporarily disabling all the plugins (except Hustle) and switching theme to Twenty Twenty-Two
    – tesing if the issue still happens
    – if it doesn’t happen then enable your regular theme back and check again
    – if still good – start enabling plugins back one by one, after each one checking the slide-in on mobile

At some point the issue would get back and we’d know that last enabled module (theme or plugin) would be the cause of that conflict. Knowing about that we could then see how to fix it.

    Kind regards,
    Adam

    Hello @mar1as ,

We haven’t heard from you for over a week now, so it looks like you don’t have any more questions for us.
Feel free to re-open this ticket if needed.

    Kind regards
