• Hello,

We cannot get slickquiz to display correctly on our website – love the way it operates in the quiz preview but will not translate to that on our site. We managed, through your FAQ instructions, to get rid of many of the errors caused by a couple of plugins but are left with one error which seems to be related to the caboom theme we have installed.

The address for the preview is https://www.freelanderspecialist.com/?p=2608&preview=true&preview_id=2608&preview_nonce=415fc9c735 and the errors we are getting are:

@suemaddock – the link you shared is to a preview page and therefore it will not load publicly. Can you share a public link for me to take a look at?

    Hi Jewlofthelotus

Thank you for your response. How do I get a public link, do I need to publish it (in which case it would be emailed to all my subscriber list)?

Sorry for my lack of knowledge!

    All the best,
    Sue

Yep, sorry @suemaddock. The only way I’ll be able to view a page is if it’s been published.

You may need to temporarily disable subscriber emails if that is an issue.

Hmmm… It looks like you’re loading multiple versions of jQuery – one on line 36 of the pages source code and another on line 149.

It’s likely the latter that is causing the issue. If you can remove that and reload the page, that should eliminate a few of the javascript errors in the console and hopefully get the quiz loading.

To be more specific, the line that should be removed looks like:

    <script src='https://code.jquery.com/jquery-latest.js'></script>

How removing that will affect the rest of your site components, I can’t say. But you definitely don’t want to have multiple instances of jQuery in any case.
