sliced invoices

    Hi,
    this is a feature request.
    I use sliced invoices for my quotes and invoicing.
    It would be great if this would integrate with VAT assistant.
    Is it possible to automatically populate ‘_sliced_client_extra_info’ with the number from EU VAT Assistant?

    I’m not sure what “sliced invoices” are, or how they work. Currently, the EU VAT Assistant is in maintenance mode, and we won’t add new features to it, as we will focus on a new solution that will replace it (see FAQs).

    If you need to populate some order meta, like _sliced_client_extra_info with the VAT number, you can use some custom code to fetch it. The VAT number is stored in meta vat_number, and you can fetch it by calling $order->get_meta('vat_number').

    We can’t write the custom code for you, as that’s not covered by our support service, but your developer should be able to do it for you.
