SLD generates blank page “Embed Link”

    Hello,

    I’m using the premium version 3.2.0 of SLD, but the issue also affects the free 1.7.2 version.
    When activating Simple Link Directory, a new page with the name “Embed Link” is automatically created. Clicking that link leads to a completely blank page (code broken, code partially missing?).
    Renaming or deleting the “Embed Link” page while SLD is active, results immediately in a new one with the same “Embed Link” name.

    Hope you can help me to handle this problem…

    Hi,

    This is not a bug or problem.

    That page is generated to enable other people being able to embed Lists in their websites which has potential to generate backlinks for your website. Of course, embed feature is optional and you can turn it on or off. But if you want embed list feature then that blank page should be left there and not renamed or deleted.

    Either way, you can just leave it alone.

    Let me post the link to my site: https://www.satelliettv.be
    The page-links are on top of my site (contacteer, embed link, links, over).
    The page “embed link” was created automatically when I activated the SLD plugin.
    One of the page-links (links) contains a small Simple Link Directory list.
    All switches on the SLD settings page are OFF.
    Clicking on the page “embed link” gives nothing but a blank page…
    It doesn’t make sense to keep that blank page there between my other pages.

    Thanks. I see what you are talking about now. You probably have it set so new pages are automatically added to the main menu. Please go to Appearance->Menu . Find the top/main menu and remove that page. This page is needed for the embed feature of the plugin but should not be added to the main menu. Sorry for the confusions.

    I use the standard settings after a clean install of WordPress, but anyway it is fixed now, thank you for your support.
