Slashes Added to Header/Footer Scripts in Appearance > Customize

  • Has anyone else noticed slashes getting added to code in the header/footer scripts section of Appearance > Customize? I found it in my Google Analytics and other tracking code. Fortunately, all of the tracking was still working, but the slashes didn’t make sense.

  • There is not a header/footer scripts section provided by core WordPress. You probably have a plugin for that (or your theme). You should ask in that support forum.
