SKU for variants does not work. It is generated but you have to save each individual product separately. That’s crazy with xxx-xxxx products.

The SKU for options works like this – for each option a number +1 is added. The SKUs are set after the item is saved. I’m going to test this now and give you an answer here.

And also please specify where it does not work for you? In the generator?

    I checked everything.

    1. Everything works when saving.
    2. When generating also works, but there is one peculiarity. If the variation article is filled in, it is not generated.

My suggestion is to make another checkbox here “Recreate SKU variations products” and then it will start recreating variations. So this will work for you?

If my suggestion is relevant, it will take me some time to do it. I look forward to hearing from you.

I will now test if I delete all SKU and then regenerate. As an example with Woo Booster Plus it works, unfortunately it only generates numerically and not alpha numerically

Thank you for the information. I already know what it is. I’ll do as I showed you from above. Wait for an update, I’ll fix it. Probably within 24 hours.

    Hello, @krapfhanna.

I need a little more time. I’ve pretty much fixed everything and optimized the code. I’ve also completely redone a number of things. Please bear with me a little longer and the next plugin update will have everything working for you.

    Hello, @krapfhanna.

I’ve fixed the SKU generation bug for variant products. You can update the plugin and it will work for you.

Overall, this problem turned out to be pretty simple. But it took me some extra time to identify the problem. I just had to change the order of the script, where the generator should generate the main SKU first, and then the variations. Also the method of getting the main SKU was changed. In general, without going into unnecessary details, you can safely use the plugin after the update.

I’ve tested it and it works perfectly, I also find the SKU builds faster.
    Thanks very much
